Today I want to start this new week off right with a giveaway from my very own sister-in-law Jerilyn! Jerilyn recently launched her Etsy shop, The Printed Mint, and it's adorable. From jewelry to canvas print bags made by hand, she does so much, you will love her stuff!
Hello fashionistas! My name is Jerilyn Hartley, from The Printed Mint. My Etsy Shop is now underway, and I am excited to launch it here on Taylor Morgan Design! I also have the priveledge of being sister-in-law to Taylor! Yep, she married my awesome "baby" brother! {I also claim to be the reason they first got together, since we were roommates first and I handed her the phone for their first convo! But that's another story....}
A little about me, I am a native of California, but have lived in Gilbert, AZ for almost 2 years now. I am a Sign Language Interpreter for the Deaf by profession, which I love, but the rest of my time I spend designing screen print designs, jewelry, wedding invitations, and becoming a better photographer. {See my photography website at jerilynhartley.com} I love unique beautiful designs and hope you can take a look at my shop to see some of them. I have that issue with my fridge and putting several boxes of baking soda has really helped.
crumpled up newspaper helps absorb bad smells, also coffee grounds. I got a fridge from a friend that smelled very strongly of fish, and using these 2 things got rid of all the smell. Good luck!

My dad cleans a lot of stuff at my parents' house with a vinegar and water mix. Granted, you may not want your kitchen to smell like vinegar, but at least it gets rid of the rotting meat smell.

Also, if you're still living with that smell, a bowl of vinegar in the kitchen and a good diluted vinegar wipe-down in both the freezer AND fridge should help. I like to add grapefruit essential oil to the dilution to help with the aromatics. :) Activated charcoal filters are the best at removing enclosed odors long-term.
